Introduction:
Haruka is one of the more aggressive Sailor Senshi--even more so than Jupiter. She is incredibly athletic, and is interested in all forms of racing, especially auto racing. She prefers boys' uniforms over girls', and consequently many of the senshi mistake her for a boy when they first meet her! Haruka is extremely devoted to Michiru (Sailor Neptune), her partner and lover, and is willing to sacrifice anything and everything to acheive her mission to find the talismen in the S season.

Haruka is 16 years old when we first meet her, and attends Mugen Gakuen High School. In the Stars season she goes to Juuban High School with the other senshi (except Setsuna and Hotaru). Haruka is also a very skilled pianist, and often accompanies Michiru, who plays the violin.
